It starts with a coverage diagnosis
We look at what your contracts already cover. Professional multi-risk and professional liability insurance almost always exclude IP: the risk most central to a creative business is also the least insured. The diagnosis measures this gap.
Defense and legal action covered
The coverage applies to any dispute concerning a creation already secured by an Ipocamp timestamp, in literary and artistic property (Individual plan), as well as trademarks and designs (Professional plan): unlicensed reproduction, imitation creating a risk of confusion. Legal fees and lawyer's fees are covered, whether you are bringing the claim or defending against it, up to your contract's cap.
Defense costs covered, not damages compensation
Ipocamp does not pay you compensation for harm suffered: the coverage pays your legal fees and lawyer's fees to take action or defend yourself, up to €5,000 per dispute under the Individual plan and €10,000 per dispute under the Professional plan. Facing a bigger player, you no longer have to give up for lack of means to defend yourself.
